Three months down….six months left to go! Today the hubby and I had our next prenatal appointment with Dr. Nicole Saint Claire at the Bellevue Group Health Medical Center. After an hour of waiting in our exam room, our very nice doctor came to our rescue of text messaging and being all-around goofy! One major change from our appointment today was that we received an updated due date based on the ultrasound we did last month. May 29th no more! We can now expect Sprout to join our family around June 4th, 2010. Yay another June baby just like me :-D For those of you who are counting the weeks with me, you'll notice that we're going to have two week 14s, since the new due take made our little Sprout a bit younger than we first thought.
At our appointment, we also got the exciting opportunity to hear Sprout’s Heartbeat again. This time the chub/baby bump was larger (yes, it’s finally turning into a combo bump!), so the heartbeat was easier to find. Besides the pregger symptoms that everyone promises will go away soon, a spill down the stairs and a being rear-ended in our new Corolla, this pregnancy is going smoothly. The nice doctor did refer me to a physical therapist to help with some back pain I’ve had since the fall down the stairs, so I get to start that next Friday. Fun Stuff!
Our next prenatal appointment will be the most exciting yet! We’ll get to do our 20 week ultrasound, find out the sex of the baby, and much much more. FREAKIN YAY! January 8th won’t be able to come fast enough for us.
